&lt;p&gt;This Visual Studio release has plenty of nice quality-of-life additions, but two updates stand above the rest for serious teams: Copilot usage transparency and MCP trust validation.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;As AI-assisted development shifts to usage-based billing, &lt;strong&gt;visibility is no longer a convenience metric&lt;/strong&gt;. It is a planning requirement. Real-time usage windows and threshold alerts help teams avoid surprise cost spikes and create healthier usage norms.&lt;/p&gt;
